About Horse Horizon

Horse Horizon is an educational website for people who love horses and want to understand them better. We explain horse breeds, anatomy, health, nutrition, daily care, training, behavior, hoof care and equipment in clear, plain language.

Why we started Horse Horizon

While looking for reliable horse information, we noticed that it was scattered across many different websites. Breeds on one site, health on another, training and care somewhere else. Horse Horizon was created to bring all of that knowledge together in one place, so horse lovers and owners can find what they need without searching all over the internet.

Horse Horizon is for first-time horse owners, riders, students and anyone who is simply curious about horses. We are a new site, and we are building it guide by guide, starting with the topics people ask about most.

What you will find here

Guides for beginners and experienced owners alike: how to read horse body language, what to feed and how much, how to recognize common health problems, how to choose tack, and how different breeds and types compare.

Everything is organized by topic, so you can go straight to what you need. We cover horse breeds, health, feeding, daily care, training, behavior, and more, including hoof care, anatomy and tack as the site grows.

How we write

We want every guide to be useful the first time you read it.

  • Plain language: We explain horse topics in simple words, without unnecessary jargon.
  • Practical first: Every guide focuses on what you can actually do or look out for.
  • Kept up to date: We revise articles when we find better or clearer information.
  • Safe health content: Our health pages explain signs, causes, prevention and when to call a vet. We do not give treatment or dosage instructions.
