The Arabian horse is one of the oldest and best-known horse breeds. It comes from the Arabian Peninsula and is easy to recognize by its refined, slightly dished face and its tail carried high. Arabians are smaller than many other breeds but are known for their stamina, which makes them top horses in endurance riding. They are intelligent, spirited, and form strong bonds with people.
